Their parents sought an activity that required commitment and formed a bonding relationship with an animal. At Woodgate Farm we look to make that opportunity available to as many children and adults as possible. Our lesson program is by appointment only during the day, evening or weekend—six days a week. Safety is our priority. Our instructors are trained to carefully match riders and horses to give the most positive experience a rider can have. We start beginners in a one-on-one lesson. When they are ready, we graduate each rider to a small group with similarly skilled riders. We have MA Licensed instructors who specialize in early equestrian education and 8 lesson horses/ponies eager to teach the beginning rider. RATES FOR THE RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Single lesson $45 Package of four lessons $150 SUMMER CAMP OPTIONS Two-hour session $60 includes transportation to and from the Farm.
